Reward, Learning & Development Administrator (Apprentice) Human Resources
We are seeking an Apprentice Administrator to join our Reward, Performance and Development team within Isio’s Human Resources (HR) Function.
The role will be based in one of our offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds or Manchester with a hybrid working pattern - working in an Isio office 2-3 days per week.
What does the role entail?
The role will be ideal for someone keen to start or progress a career in HR as a varied and pivotal role impacting all of our 1,500 employees in:
Ensuring the smooth coordination and delivery of our learning and developmental activities.
Managing our employee benefits package and dealing with key suppliers.
Supporting performance assessment, salary and bonus reviews for all Isio colleagues.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Work closely with the Reward, Performance and Development team to understand and deliver their needs and objectives.
Coordinate all administrative aspects of the learning and development programmes, including scheduling, booking resources, and managing delegates.
Develop a good understanding of Isio’s benefits package and development programme, and act as the first point of contact for related queries, i.e. monitoring and responding to queries to the dedicated mailboxes.
Manage and understand Isio’s Pension Scheme and associated administration.
Support with the monitoring of supplier costs, study costs and exam tracking.
Maintain accurate records and provide reporting, in line with company and regulatory requirements using the Learning Management System (LMS) and benefit platform. For example, support with Pay Gap reporting, employee training outcomes.
Manage course enrolment processes, ensuring colleagues are booked onto the correct course, have received the relevant information and that course attendance is recorded correctly.
Gather feedback from employees which will be used to improve benefit or L&D design.
Update training programme content or benefit platform content as request by members of the team.
Conduct analysis to support various reward workstreams, such as benchmarking, comp survey submission, salary range design.
Involvement in the performance assessment and annual pay and bonus review cycle.
What we are looking for?
Intermediate to Advanced experience and ability with using with Microsoft Office Software.
Experience of effective support of data analysis.
Enthusiasm to develop knowledge and experience of HR systems.
Effective ability to work as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Consistently demonstrates a high level of personal courtesy and customer service mindset.
A proactive and can-do attitude to work.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Detail orientated with excellent record-keeping abilities.
Able to work in main Isio office 2-3 days a week.
A genuine interest and motivation to build a successful career in Human Resources.
Candidates must have achieved qualification in Maths and English equivalent to Grade C or 4 at GCSE level or higher.
After completing three months probation successfully, this role offers the opportunity to work to achieve Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) through a Level 3 Apprenticeship – subject to fulfilling eligibility for Apprenticeship status within Government regulations.
