Administration Systems Senior Manager
The Administration Systems Senior Manager will lead the Admin Systems team and ensure that work is delivered effectively, whilst ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, regulatory compliance, and client expectations. The role requires managing cross-functional projects, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders (both internal external), and driving operational improvements whilst mitigating risk. This role will play a key role in the Admin Systems strategy for Isio.
The role will report into the Head of Client Onboarding and Change and will have overall responsibility for the Admin Systems team. The role will be part of a management team responsible for new business implementations and client project change delivery, and work with the wider teams within the Administration business and other stakeholders from across Isio. They will understand the requirements of the projects assigned within their team and ensure they are met, monitored and delivered through a combination of strong and effective resourcing, planning and quality standards.
This role can be based in any of our city centre offices with a hybrid workstyle.
What does the role entail?
- Provide technical expertise for the design and leadership for the delivery of Admin Systems Solutions.
- Work closely with the Head of Client Onboarding and Change to create an Admin Systems strategy for Isio with a focus on using modern development techniques and platforms, including effective infrastructure & deployment processes and co-ordination of resources.
- Lead the design and implementation of processes and procedures relating to Admin Systems.
- Work within the wider governance framework to ensure a consistent approach and documentation of all work delivery, specifically, adopting and overseeing governance frameworks and processes to enable effective risk management.
- Support key project delivery from a systems aspect, such as Pensions Dashboard, GMPE and De-risking activities.
- Play an active role in the delivery of work through coding and configuration of the admin platforms.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain reporting systems to monitor cost/revenue relating to project delivery and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong connections with stakeholders and external suppliers, establishing trust.
- Ensure that the requirements of the wider business from Admin Systems are delivered and are fit for purpose.
- Enhance the skill set of the Admin Systems Team to meet the changing needs of the business and reduce third party costs by designing reusable solutions.
- Offer technical advice and support to colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring processes are embedded into BAU Administration and completing post project analysis to confirm acceptance and provide lessons learned.

Essential

- Strong / established knowledge and experience of working with UK Defined Benefit Pensions schemes and operating platforms
- Strong people management skills including evidence of managing multiple delivery teams.
- Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Evidence of strong project management experience with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of non-BAU opportunities within the pensions industry.
- Evidence of relationship management to include strong negotiation, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience of working in a Pensions Administration Management role.
- Track record of solutions implementation and transformation.
- Dynamic and organised, to enable effective decision making and prioritisation.
- Positive role model to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Personal development and ambition.
Desirable
- Financial acumen and experience of budget management, cost-benefit analysis, and financial reporting.
- Presentation skills that demonstrate the ability to communicate across various mediums to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
- Experience of working in a Pensions Administration Systems environment.
