2026 Actuarial & Consulting - Insurance Project Management Graduate Analyst
Length of programme: You are employed on a permanent basis from the start of this graduate role. Your pay will be reviewed on an annual basis and if you perform well your responsibilities will grow, with the possibility of a substantial promotion within 3 years.
Qualifications you’ll work for: This role offers flexibility to suit your ultimate professional aspirations. Depending on your existing qualifications and interest you would be supported in working to achieve professional qualifications awarded by one of the following:
- Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFOA) - working to full qualification as an Actuary
- Pensions Management Institute (PMI)
- Association of Project Management (APM).

Entry requirements:
- To apply for this role you need to have completed an undergraduate degree, or higher, qualification by 23 September 2026 and have achieved a 2.1 or higher. If you are in your final year of university study, we are looking for those on track to achieve this.
- We are open to applications from those studying any subject. Candidates will require numeracy skills and a keen interest in financial concepts.
- We are not able to provide visa sponsorship for this position and therefore you will need to be able to work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Working as a Graduate Project Management Analyst
Isio’s expertise in Pensions is our main source of service that we offer to clients across different aspects of supporting their Pension funds and their interaction with their current and former employees – now pension members. A growing part of Isio’s client offer is advising clients who look to transfer the pension schemes they look after to insurance companies. This activity takes place via a significant and detailed process – these are huge financial transactions between institutions. Isio provides consultancy and expertise to our clients including Chief Financial Officers of employers and Independent Professional Trustees across all stages of these significant undertakings including providing support through effective Project Management Consultancy.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Financial and Professional Services who is keen to develop transferable knowledge, skills and experience in Project Management consultancy. You will learn and support an established team of industry-leading experts. This is a role that offers exposure and experience of working directly with clients while collaborating with professionals across Isio’s teams and building deep knowledge and understanding of the UK pensions sector.
Working as a Graduate Project Management Analyst at Isio you will develop experience in
- Client Projects – initially supporting and developing to be able to drive and manage the full project life cycle including set up, planning, managing/progress reporting to key stakeholders, control, and project close
- Financial Management – budget management and preparation of fees/invoices
- Project Management – understanding key processes, documentation, online tools and effective communication
- Business Development – support Isio’s bids and proposals to clients, networking across Isio to maximise client engagement opportunities
- Pension fund understanding – building knowledge on the large amounts of financial assets involved in pensions and the management of them.
Training and Development
As a Graduate Project Management Analyst at Isio, you will be supported in achieving relevant professional qualifications given by external bodies. This could include the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) and/or Association of Project Management.
Additional support will come from:
- Meeting your peers and senior leaders at a Graduate induction event.
- Support with developing key personal and professional behaviours.
- Regular technical training and opportunities to develop wider market knowledge throughout your career within Isio.
- A buddy from your first day to help you settle in.
- A Performance Manager to support you with your individual progress and performance
