Pensions Administration Change Project Manager
The Pensions Administration Change Project Manager will lead and deliver complex change initiatives within pensions administration, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, regulatory compliance, and client expectations. The role requires managing cross-functional projects, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders (both internal external), and driving operational improvements whilst mitigating risk. They will understand the requirements of the projects they are assigned to and ensure they are met, monitored and delivered. They will also identify opportunities to streamline processes, manage priorities, provide regular reporting and overall governance of project delivery.
This role can be based in any of our city centre offices with a hybrid workstyle.
What does the role entail?
- Lead on a range of Pensions Administration Change Projects.
- Effectively partnership with clients and a range of stakeholders.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at varying levels.
- Use a range of communication mediums to meet internal and external needs.
- Oversee and support transformation, installation and solutions implementation, where required.
- Produce and present to varying stakeholders on a range of pensions administration and technology services and outcomes.
- Enable and adopt effective risk management and governance frameworks.
- Foster rapport and partnerships with stakeholders.
- Offer technical advice and support to colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Use data and MI to strengthen decision making outcomes.
- Provide project management support to colleagues to meet expectations.
- Oversee and ensure governance frameworks (e.g. operational, financial, and legislative) are adhered to.
- Develop knowledge of Isio services, brand and opportunities to present and advocate.
- Ensuring processes are embedded into BAU Administration and completing post project analysis to confirm acceptance and provide lessons learned.
- Adopting a continuous improvement mindset.

Essential

- Knowledge and experience of working with UK Defined Benefit Pensions.
- Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies..
- Evidence of strong project management experience with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of non-BAU opportunities within the pensions industry.
- Evidence of relationship management to include strong negotiation, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Demonstrable experience in a Project management role.
- Track record of solutions implementation and transformation.
- Pragmatic, with a keen eye for detail.
- Collaborative, transparent and inclusive values.
- Dynamic and organised, to enable effective decision making and prioritisation.
- Positive role model to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Personal development and ambition.
Desirable
- Prince 2 Certification.
- Financial acumen and experience of budget management, cost-benefit analysis, and financial reporting.
- Presentation skills that demonstrate the ability to communicate across various mediums to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
