Senior Marketing Manager
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to join our fast-paced, high-growth client development team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the development of engaging and results-driven campaigns, sales enablement, account-based marketing. Collaborating closely with the marketing, communications and cross-functional teams, you’ll be key to the success of our campaigns and client programmes to optimise Return on Investment (ROI) through enhanced and personalised audience targeting.
Channels and tactics that you will use to be successful in the role include HubSpot, data segmentation, user journeys, client communications, email marketing, website, social media, events, webinars, analytic reports, design management, strategic partnerships and sponsorships.
* Please note this is a Fixed term contract for 9-12 months commencing mid July 2025. This role is hybrid working to be based in London or Bristol.
Department
The role is part of a marketing communications and client development team working in close alignment to drive a data-driven, digital-first approach underpinned by market and client led insight.
The team is a fully integrated and valued component of our Isio strategy playing a key role in developing and delivering the firm’s growth journey with an integrated approach to sales and marketing.
Objective
Work effectively and collaboratively to develop strategic marketing plans and lead campaigns, informed by database management, insights, and audience segmentation to ensure maximum relevance and impact. This is a vital role in the team to provide a measured link between marketing activity and resulting lead generation.
This role will involve working closely with the rest of the regional business and service division teams alongside integrating closely with colleagues across the wider marketing and communications team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and lead strategic sales and marketing plans & campaigns, including developing content assets, email marketing, website and digital optimisation, social media, strategic partnerships and sponsorships.
- Lead and deliver Isio’s client satisfaction programme including supplier programme management and monitoring business strategy-based KPIs such as NPS and client verbatim.
- Lead Isio’s account based marketing programmes for identified accounts, establishing a clear understanding of client issues, behaviours and preferences to design and oversee activity & campaigns to build client engagement, strengthen relationships and demonstrate increase revenue opportunities within high growth potential clients and targets.
- Plan and lead Isio’s participation in industry conferences, trade shows, events, webinars and partnerships, ensuring strong brand presence, and monitored KPIs aligned to strategic business objectives.
- Demonstrate consistently a measured link between Isio’s marketing activity and resulting lead generation. Support the maintenance of a regular performance dashboard showing brand awareness, lead generation, client engagement and revenue data.
- Develop and manage the marketing department’s budget plan, ensuring reporting trackers are maintained, team process followed and supports reporting ROI documents.
- Work effectively and collaboratively on strategic marketing projects linking to areas including data, client insight and CRM integrating closely with colleagues across the marketing, bid and communications team in addition to business stakeholders.
- Team leadership and people development: Performance management and mentor role for a small campaigns team.
Key Skills & Experience
- 5-7+ years experience with marketing and sales enablement.
- Professional or Financial Services experience – B2B & B2B2C
- Degree in marketing, communication studies, business or similar.
- A confident, commercially-aware marketer with strong customer focus, analytical capabilities, creative flair and a proven track-record of flawless execution.
- An effective team player with excellent communication skills, able to quickly build strong relationships.
- Deep expertise in project and campaign management including the ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of agency supplier models with experience in managing and sourcing new agency relationships.
- Performance management experience of a small team.
- Strong understanding of database management, insight development, audience segmentation and data enrichment.
- Excellent knowledge of marketing automation and CRM / email technology (HubSpot desirable) and tools such as WordPress.
- Excellent understanding of marketing in a regulatory risk environment.
