Isio has an established and growing Public Services pensions business delivering around £8m per annum of revenue across all service lines. It spans central and local government, blue lights, health, education and housing, and is linked to sectors such as transport, utilities and infrastructure.

Head of Public Services Pensions
We are looking for a dynamic leader to drive radical growth in our public services pensions business.
What does the role entail?
Set a vision and direction that excites other senior consultants (both in Public Services and more widely).
Demonstrate commercial and operational excellence in relation to financial performance, people leadership, client and opportunity management.
Lead client relationships – co-ordinating multiple Isio services, developing new opportunities with existing clients, managing commercial and personal relationships with clients.
Drive forward new business activities, including:
· Using existing relationships and networks to identify and develop new opportunities;
· Building relationships with potential clients;
· Leading by example in the external market;
· Achieving agreed targets and milestones; and
· Mentoring and developing other senior leaders to sell successfully.
· Understand Public Sector procurement, and how this can be used to Isio’s advantage.
Raise ideas and challenge thinking to get us ahead in the market, especially new and evolving areas.
Ensure our delivered work is robust and joined up, including use of specialist teams.
Support the development of our team members through coaching and mentoring, including performance management responsibilities.
What we’re looking for?
Experience of providing pensions advice within one or more of the sectors of public services.
Experience of providing advice in relation to the LGPS is welcomed, but not essential.
Extensive previous experience of relevant consulting and relationship management.
Appetite to drive forward innovative thinking on strategy development.
Proven network of relationships to develop business.
Business development experience and a commercial mindset.
Extensive leadership skills.
The ability and willingness to take on a high level of responsibility and work effectively in a team.
Excellent communication skills.
