Client Relationship Director
To support the Head of Administration Services in a strategic role, during an exciting period of growth as the business continues to see increased market share.
You will lead the client relationship management (CRM) team nationally - ensuring that the team are delivering to their objectives. This will include – setting strategy, delivering growth, developing and maintaining key client relationships, performance management and ensuring outstanding service delivery.
You will successfully manage a portfolio of large, complex administration clients. The role will include responsibility for the management of relationships between the operational delivery teams and our administration-only client appointments.
You will build deep, trusted relationships with clients and professional independent trustees and successful manage complex projects providing technical support, reporting and liaison with the delivery teams.
Take a lead role in bids and presentations to prospective clients and assist with the strategic growth plans. You will own the proposal process and identify opportunities to cross sell wider business services.
Ensure that business growth is accelerated, and that commercial success is achieved.
Gather feedback from clients and provide strategic input into the development plans of the service.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead on our largest and most complex administration-only client relationships to ensure that we continue to build client loyalty whilst maximising revenue growth opportunities.
- Oversee the delivery of all services to existing clients and thereby maximising revenue:
- Ensure that client’s needs are being met, that excellent services are being delivered, oversee contract renewals and develop further service requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact or escalation for administration clients (Trustees and senior sponsors)
- Build trusted relationships with clients and key trustees
- Develop a network of relationships across the independent trustee community leading to new opportunities for Isio
- Work with other members of the administration management and delivery teams to ensure high standards of service delivery are maintained.
- Develop relationships with administration clients to build a strong pipeline of project opportunities with the potential to be converted into additional revenue.
- Manage the national CRM team – providing strategic leadership, performance management, overseeing all client delivery, maximising growth and new opportunities.
- Prepare annual review and planning meetings with key operational stakeholders including auditors, accountants, clients and administrators.
- Identify and promote opportunities to deliver non-core service projects.
- Identify and promote opportunities for cross-selling.
- Provide project management support on large scale projects.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients on administration projects.
- Participate in new client installation programs and support the implementation manager in the new client handoff process.
- Participate in the new business process to establish early relationships with new clients.
- Review, assess and develop with the administration teams strategic partnerships with other specialist service providers.
- Represent the business externally at networking events, conferences and exhibitions to enhance and strengthen our profile as a specialist provider within the industry.
- Understand the drivers of the business and identify commercial opportunities.
- Maintain an awareness of external factors (including market driven developments and demands, current and proposed legislation in relation to client requirements) which impact the business.
- Liaise with relevant internal departments to ensure that client needs are met and fully communicated throughout the business.
- Communicate with all major internal stakeholders to achieve the business objectives.
- Undertake any other duties which may reasonably be requested by the Head of Administration Services
Experience & Competencies Required
- Understanding of the complete end-to-end administration service delivery model including administration, treasury, accounts and payroll
- Experience of leading and managing teams
- Proven track record of new business growth
- Proven track record on communicating, delivering and managing administration projects.
- Strong technical understanding of administration and market challenges
- Strong communicator with a solution driven mentality
- Ability to compile and present reports on complex subject matter.
- Good project management skills with a proven track record on delivering and communicating multiple client delivery programs.
- Commercial focus with the ability to quickly establish the requirements and costs of a project.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- High degree of personal drive
- Able to inspire and lead colleagues acting as a positive role model and advocate for isio
- Collaborative, solution focused approach to problem solving, with full accountability for decisions made.
